Each year, Aloha United Way provides Safety Net Funding to nonprofit partner agencies working to provide basic human needs and support people in crisis. Each of these programs falls into one of the following categories: Disaster/Crisis, Homelessness and Shelter, Emergency Housing Assistance, Health and Community Care, or Food Insecurity.
Despite government efforts, insecurity is rising. Agencies face increased needs for at-risk youth, strained clinics, and unsheltered individuals. As financial, housing, and food insecurity grow, AUW's Safety Net Fund needs community support to sustain vital services.
From January to December of 2024, the following agencies have received Safety Net Funding and are responsible for reporting their usage of the funds received.
